Miami, FL – May 3, 2019 – There’s a reason that “fierce” is one of the most popular modern slang words of 2019. It’s an all-encompassing word that identifies someone as not only physically attractive and put-together but more importantly, it denotes someone who is powerful. Think Beyoncè. Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson. Judy “Judge Judy” Sheindlin. Floyd Mayweather. Even Kylie Jenner.
According to the makers of the new Commando Cobra bag, the product was developed to help people find their power – it’s the perfect marriage of fitness and self-defense. It gives users a cardio workout, strength training, and improved hand-eye coordination.
“Our Cobra bag puts the “fierce” into fitness. It’s a punching bag for at-home fitness and self-defense training that combines what research says people want most: good health, happiness, and strength,” explained Dr. Mackenzy Volmy, inventor of the Commando Cobra bag. “Cobras have a certain elegance along with an intimidating posture and nasty bite that makes them both feared and respected. We want our customers to feel that kind of power as they get stronger and more agile with our Cobra bag. We wanted them to feel sexy, confident and thrifty.”
“Conventional reflex bags are sorely lacking. And boxing classes are either too expensive or an inconvenient drive for me. As a boxing enthusiast that drove me crazy and I was compelled to make a reliable and convenient bag,” said Mackenzy. “The Cobra bag hits you back with a life-like recoil that mirrors an intense boxing sparring session. That is not something that traditional reflex bags come close to. And I saved hundreds of dollars on boxing club memberships.”
The team at Commando launched a KickStarter campaign this month to allow them to make the Cobra bag readily available to those who do not have the time or budget for expensive boxing classes and coaches or do not want to invest in bulky equipment for their workout regimen. Commando says boxing sessions with the Cobra can burn around 585 to 727 calories in one 60-minute session. Early supporters of the campaign get a $50 discount on the bag and receipt before it is available to the general public. The team has an aggressive goal to raise $30,000 in 14 days.
The bag assembles in three simple steps and is made of durable material that easily handles power punches. It has a professionally engineered and stable base along with a high-tension spring for marathon sessions.
“There is nothing like the emotional release of punching, moving and sweating to help clear the body, mind, and soul – much like a reset button. Having that convenience in your home is invaluable and we hope the public will embrace our Kickstarter campaign,” added Mackenzy.
