Custer network enable blockchain interoperability

Custer Network, as a blockchain infrastructure tool provider, has also conducted in-depth research on blockchain interoperability. infrastructure tool provider, it has also conducted in-depth research in blockchain interoperability. Custer Network follows the Cosmos ecological IBC protocol on top of the IBC protocol, optimizing and upgrading the IBC protocol, and launching the IBC 2.0 protocol.

What is blockchain interoperability?

To understand the changes that Custer brings to the blockchain world, we need to first understand what blockchain interoperability is; blockchain interoperability is very complex, so let’s try to explain it in the simplest way possible. Blockchain interoperability means that a user can send a CTR and have it automatically converted into BTC through the blockchain protocol, a process that does not require the involvement of a third party such as a trading platform. the Custer network is working to build cross-chain interaction protocols for all types of blockchains to enable secure and reliable interactions. The importance about blockchain cross-chain interoperability is also self-evident. Blockchain constitutes a network that can improve the decentralized Internet through network effects, which brings more capital, better user experience and more brainstorming when everything is connected together, thus improving the network. Blockchain interoperability can significantly improve the scalability, speed and extension of blockchains. For example, if a blockchain caps the number of transactions at 100TPS, an identical blockchain can be created and can interoperate with the previous blockchain so that it can reach 200TPS; and so on, which can significantly improve the efficiency of the blockchain. It also allows private, public and federated chains to connect. Eventually, the blockchain can even interoperate with fiat banking systems such as SWIFT.

How does the Custer network enable blockchain interoperability?

The Custer network consists of three main components, a network of computer nodes that can communicate with each other, a protocol that allows nodes to reach consensus on new blocks, and an application layer with its own state, Tendermint is responsible for the network and consensus layers of the blockchain. This allows blockchains to create applications with their own state based on Tendermint.

The Custer network uses the IBC protocol, or chain relay, based on the Tendermint framework; chain relay allows blockchains to read and verify events in other blockchains. For example, a smart contract on chain A wants to know if a certain event has occurred on chain B. To do so, the smart contract on chain B wants to read the events on chain B. To do so, the smart contract on chain B needs to take a block header from chain A and verify that it has met consensus and reached finality. Notably, blockchain finality means that the transaction has been written to the block and added to the blockchain, which means it cannot be reversed or tampered with. Essentially, Custer is building a network that makes it easy to create new blockchains, and these newly created blockchains can interact via chain relays from the start. Each blockchain will run on Tendermint, and new blockchains can join the network as long as they follow the IBC protocol, and this rule applies whether they are public or private chains.

Future

With the further advancement of the Custer network in terms of multi-chain extension and protocol integration, we can even imagine that one day users will no longer have to interact directly with many DeFi protocols on different chains, but will be able to perform all types of on-chain operations through a few stand-out front ends, with Custer and the native cross-chain protocols on top handling all back-end cross-chain and interaction logic. The boundaries between chains will then also gradually become blurred, and the average user will not even need to perceive the underlying switching process at all.

Of course, all this is just the most idealized imagination, but we do believe that the chain-to-chain connection is bound to be closer in the future, and users’ demand for cross-chain interoperability is bound to increase. New demands will bring new markets, and we at expect Custer Network to bring us more surprises in this new blue ocean.
