Daeseon Textile Co. Daeseon Textile Co. has established the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), a standard for certifying compliance with environmental, social, and chemical aspects as well as the content of recycled raw materials in finished products. In response to the expansion of the recycled fiber market and increasing demand of such brands, it has launched a worldwide certification to prove the traceability of recycled raw materials in the textile and clothing industry.

In 2022, the Korea Silk Research Institute’s new convergence material research team succeeded in developing a multi-layer aviation insulation material interwoven with metallic yarn based on silk-aerogel material as part of the ‘2021 Gyeongnam Jinju Gangso Special Zone Specialized and Linked Business Growth Support Project.‘

As such, Daeseon Textile Co. is a domestic company that goes beyond simply weaving silk fabrics, which is leading the development of sustainable fabrics on the rise by producing cutting-edge fabric using silk materials.
