CHEEKY MANEEKY TRAVELS EVERYWHERE
Cheeky MaNeeky Travels Everywhere is an interesting Children’s Adventure series. The stories are based on deceased D’Ann Swain’s daughter (Valerie) travels and life as a child. She died in 2016 from an aggressive brain tumor at age 30. The book was written based on Valerie’s instruction that each book must have woven into it a self-esteem lesson, a family values lesson, and conservation lesson.
The Cheeky character in the book looks like Valerie as a child. The big pink glasses, funny outfits, and pigtails. In each book, Cheeky travels with her friends through a magic doorway drawn by her dog Pencil Toes. The book shows how they are traveling to many states and places. The stories are interesting because it appeals to both boys and girls. Furthermore, they are meant to inspire and entertain.
