New York, United States – May 4, 2021 – The official scholarship program founded by David Ebrahimzadeh will now open its applications for the academic year 2021. The award is a $ 1,000 financial grant for eligible U.S. current and incoming college students the following semester after the announcements.
A lot of resources are needed to get into college. The process of taking exams, submitting documents, and participating in interviews can be physically and mentally taxing in itself, and it can even be more challenging when finances are short. Some students end up working part-time to cover their expenses, and even that may not enough for those who pay tuition fees. Past college, many graduates are also held back by student debt with over 43 million borrowers still paying at present.
Corniche Capital President David Ebrahimzadeh believes that all students who desire to get a college degree should have the means to do so. Finances should be the least of their worries, and they should be empowered enough to focus on succeeding academically. Coming from this sentiment, he started the David Ebrahimzadeh Scholarship dedicated to all deserving U.S. college students who are passionate about real estate.
The scholarship program is open to all current U.S. students pursuing a college-level degree. Alternatively, it is also open to seniors who are already accepted as a freshman in any U.S. college or university. The applicants must also be taking a course either related to the real estate or private equity industry, or passionate about such subjects. Interested students must submit their personal details such as name, college information, and a 500-word essay question with the following prompt: “You have made a choice to obtain higher education. Has your outlook on owning real estate in the future changed while on this journey? Why or why not?“
All entries must be submitted on or before March 31, 2022. After the selection of entries, one deserving student will receive the $1,000 financial assistance the following semester after the announcements. The recently concluded 2020-2021 scholarship program was awarded to Briana, a student of the College of Marin in California. Briana is currently pursuing a business degree and will be an incoming sophomore.
David Ebrahimzadeh Scholarship is a program for U.S. college students who are passionate about pursuing the real estate and private equity industry. By providing financial assistance for students in need, the founders aspire to bring hope and help individuals realize their dreams of completing a higher education degree.
