Innovative fashion platform, Diversity Fashion World, attracts diverse communities together to celebrate Cambodia Day at the Asian World Film Festival
Diversity Fashion World again brought its ingenuity and creativity to the fore at the Asian World Film Festival – Cambodia Day on November 11, 2022, where it presented a fashion show at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. The much anticipated red carpet gala welcomed over 300 guests that included performers, elected officials, authors, fashion designers, models, and more.
The fashion show was hosted by Nate Calima and chaired by Olary Yim. The sold-out event brought together diverse communities together to celebrate Cambodia Day and was a platform for talented designers of Cambodian descent to showcase their craft. Featured designers include: Rajana Threads, Khmer Bridal, and Remy Hou.

Fashion has evolved over the years to become a way of expressing one’s personality and individuality. The Diversity Fashion World team felt honored to produce a cultural fashion show for the inaugural event as their mission is to promote diversity and inclusion on the runway through creative ensembles.
In addition to the fashion show, Asian World Film Festival featured Khmer traditional instruments and music, living Khmer exhibits and artifacts, Cambodian royal classical dance, book signing, traditional Khmer food, as well as a Red Carpet Walk experience.
