March 6, 2019 – Alignable recently announced the recipient of Gaithersburg’s 2018 Small Businessperson of the Year. Alice Langholt, the owner of Reiki Awakening (a Maryland based company that provides holistic solutions to health issues through an energy healing technique called Reiki) was awarded Gaithersburg’s 2018 Small Businessperson of the Year. Dr. Alice Langholt has been given a personalized badge to celebrate the award.
The winner of this award is usually determined after two months of nominations and voting that involve over 30,000 nominees and voters. The criteria used in the competition focused on local SMB role models who are dedicated to helping other small businesspeople succeed. After an extensive round of nominations, the next process was for the top nominees to advance to the finalist stage where local Alignable members voted for their favorite candidate.
