EAST COUNTY TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER SUPPORTS WOMEN LEADERS, NEW CAREERS AND THE SENIOR EXPERIENCE PROJECT

Corinne

EL CAJON, CA – On Friday, September 20th, East County Transitional Living Center was pleased to be among the 400 people who attended the 17th Annual Women in Leadership Luncheon. Forty-three women were nominated for the Women in Leadership awards!

The event was held at Sycuan Casino, and it honored women who demonstrate exemplary character, integrity and outstanding leadership qualities in their fields and communities. As an organization, ECTLC salutes the talented women who received awards and nominations — and women everywhere!

In other exciting news, one of our recent graduates, Corinne, found a new career while going through our program. Corinne is now an MTS driver — part of San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System.

Corinne is delighted with her new position and looking forward to her bright future. We are thrilled for her new position and that Corinne continues to stay in touch with her ECTLC family; she’s still driving them to appointments, just now via bus!

Finally, the Senior Experience Program, led by Kasandra Sotelo, met with the development team at ECTLC. The Senior Experience Program is a program at Cal State University of San Marcos that matches teams of students with projects submitted by regional and national businesses and organizations. ECTLC is uniting with Sotelo in order to work on a project that will assist with website upgrades and donor relations!

ECTLC is grateful for the assistance and insight that will come from a group of inspired, intelligent and youthful students.
