January 10, 2019 — A team of researchers at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hainan Normal University (China) published the report of the study they carried out Application of nanosized LiFePO4 in the magazine – Current Analytical Chemistry.
The report stated that the application of nanosized LiFePO4 modified electrode to electrochemical sensor and biosensor. According to the scientists who tested electrodes modified with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) for biochemical analysis and hemoglobin, LFP is a promising candidate to develop the new modified electrodes.
LFP is a low-cost component abundantly available in the environment. Owing to its additional advantages such as its long cycle life and environmental compatibility, hence, high safety, non-toxicity it can be used for the cost-effective development of electrochemical sensor and biosensor.
October 02, 2018 — Archer Exploration Limited (Australia), a company involved in the discovery, development, and commercialization of mineral deposits announced entering into a legally binding Material Transfer Agreement (“MTA”) with a leading German biotechnology company for the development of its graphene-based biosensor.
The Agreement involves the development of electrochemical biosensors for the semi-quantitative detection of disease state markers.
