Hong Kong – January 11, 2018 – Gumpold Christian & Co are proud to announce the official opening of their latest trading floor based in Hong Kong. In March 2014 Gumpold Christian and Co. incorporated their Asian trading arm (GC Advisors (HK) Limited.

Following almost four years of preparation, regulation and licensing requirements, Mr. Gumpold Christian, (Founder) was proud to open his Asian trading desk.

“The road to the expansion of our Asian desk has taken a lot longer than anticipated, however here at GC & Co. we wanted to ensure that we had the full cover and backing of the Hong Kong Financial Commission prior to opening this desk,” said Mr. Gumpold Christian, Founder of GC & Co.

He further said, “I am proud to announce that here in Hong Kong we are officially open for business. I have selected a highly skilled team from across the globe to head up this desk with a key role being played by Mr Michael Lafferty, one of the lead portfolio managers.”

From Hong Kong, Michael and his team will ensure that GC & Co. have an opening into the Australian market and he has already been conducting major conferences with members of both the Hong Kong Financial commission and Australian institutional clients.

The regulation into the European and Asian Markets now allow GC & C0. to provide solutions to their clients globally.
