“VIOLENCE VOYAGER the perfect film for Halloween,” wrote Nerdgeist.

Los Angeles, CA – Oct 29, 2019 – Enter the weird and twisted world of ‘VIOLENCE VOYAGER’ on Amazon today: https://amzn.to/35LJTgy.

“Proudly deranged in every frame, VIOLENCE VOYAGER is one horror comedy that won’t leave viewers’ minds anytime soon. You might laugh, cringe, or wince your way through this 83-minute spectacle, but in no way will you ever forget what you witnessed,” wrote Boston Bastard Brigade.

From the innovative and unique animation style of writer/director Ujicha (The Burning Buddha Man), VIOLENCE VOYAGER incorporates the unique 2-D animation technique of “Gekimation” – meticulous hand-painted paper cutouts, created in-camera effects with light and fluids.

Showcasing “grotesque and violent imagery of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” wrote Nerdgeist, VIOLENCE VOYAGER provides “an utter sense of dread and it’s easy to see how this reminds me of films like IT and The Shining – especially bringing up childhood feelings of isolation.”

Set in the present-day Japanese countryside, two friends, Bobby (Aoi Yûki) and Akkun (Shigeo Takahashi), set on an adventure to visit a friend on the other side of the mountain. Taking a shortcut, the friends soon stumble upon an amusement park called “Violence Voyager”. But when the friends are welcomed in the friendly owner, Koike, unsettling acts are unleashed. Consisting of Quentin Tarantino-esque blood squirts, acid attacks, and grotesque body dismemberment and mutation, the boys must work alongside the other children captured by the park to fend off a number of deadly attacks as they gradually learn the truth behind the facility. Will the boys be able to fight for their survival?

“I’ve never seen a movie done quite like VIOLENCE VOYAGER,” continued Boston Bastard Brigade, adding, “it reaches a point of no return when a rectangular-headed robot pops in, starts spraying kids with skin-melting goo, and bashes a skull in. With some clever editing techniques, characters will bleed, vomit, and drool with comical effects.”

VIOLENCE VOYAGER is now available on digital streaming platforms (Amazon, DirecTV, FlixFling, VImeo on Demand, Vudu, FANDANGO and AT&T).
