Passengers traveling between Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province and North China’s Beijing or Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong province can enjoy more frequent flights as Hangzhou International Airport recently teamed up with two Chinese airlines to dispatch more flights between the cities.
Starting from Dec 22, 2020, Air China opened 34 express flights between Hangzhou and Beijing, while China Southern opened 22 flights between Hangzhou and Guangzhou.
Several preferential policies were also put forward to bring more convenience to passengers. For example, passengers traveling between Hangzhou and Beijing can enjoy a one-time free ticket change on their departure day, and those traveling between Hangzhou and Guangzhou can enjoy free rescheduling to flights within three hours before or after their original flights.
The airport has also set up specific parking lots for express flight passengers, as well as specialized check-in counters, security check channels, and boarding gates. Through these measures, it takes passengers no more than three minutes to walk 150 meters from the check-in counter to the boarding gate.
The airport has set up self-service facilities for passengers to check in, check their luggage, and go through the security check on their own. They can also directly use their identification (ID) cards to board as paper passes are no longer required.
