London, ON, Canada – May 9, 2017 – HealthyTeam’s latest challenge has been successfully going on for the past one week to determine the healthiest company to work for. Launched on May 1st, the International Labor Day, this challenge has so far received 462 participants who have downloaded the app and more are signing up every minute. The challenged asked a simple question that stated ‘Who is the healthiest company to work for?’ and people are participating at an overwhelming rate.
“Each week we want participants to share a minimum of 5 healthy meals and 3 workouts, but we are seeing participants averaging 3 healthy meals and one exercise per day. It’s amazing to see the lifestyle changes participants are making with the support of the HealthyTeam community,” said Andrea Morley, Lead Coach for HealthyTeam. “It has been only a week and participants have logged 2124 healthy meals and 834 workouts, with more being posted by the minute,” she added.
According to the Lead Coach, this Corporate Challenge is even more fun and exciting this time around because all participants are using a new app called HealthyTeam to track their diet, exercise, and weight.
“We are pleased to announce that our Corporate Challenge now has 462 participants that have downloaded the app and these people signed up to participate from 67 different companies in only 7 days,” Andrea added. The new app provides all participants with education and resources from HealthyTeam Coaches, while receiving motivation from coworkers and friends, keeping themselves accountable, and interacting on each other’s posts.
According to Andrea, it doesn’t matter if someone missed the May 1st date and people can still join this challenge. The Challenge is welcoming new companies and their employees to participate and share their experience to promote a healthy working environment and to support their own health goals. Coming soon to the app will be a leaderboard that will rank companies based on the health of their staff.
According to Aaron Lindsay, the VP of Marketing at HealthyTeam, the app is launched to help answering the age old question asked by the employees and that is to find out which of the companies is the healthiest place to work. According to Aaron, the app has a ranking system and it will also play a major role in analyzing the health standards adopted by the companies.
