Kreimann’s Robotics company began as a science summer camp less than five years ago. In that short timespan, it has expanded to training over 2000 students across 35 schools every year!
Not only do his teams have a sweeping record of winning tournaments in and around California but have also represented the USA at the championship in Denmark where they competed against over 200 teams from over 70 countries, placing 10th overall!
A war veteran, Kreimann worked for the US military as a sergeant in joint node network management, computer networking and satellite communications.
Kreimann also provided communications and radio support to the troops of the 101st airborne, and 4th infantry division stationed in Sadr City during the Iraq War.
Hermann Kreimann attributes a lot of the success he’s had in business to the skills he acquired playing sports.
“The skills I learned playing sports taught me how to communicate effectively, both with customers and with employees.”
Kreimann believes that part of being an effective entrepreneur and leader is to be able to give instructions and direction without offending people.
“I’m a people person,” says Kreimann.
He believes his time as captain of his varsity football team helped him hone in on how to successfully coordinate multiple people as a group. A skill he was able to transfer quite efficiently into his business ventures.
The veteran soldier believes in leading by example and strives to create a positive space for his employees.
“I’ve always been of the mindset that there’s always a way to accomplish something. That’s something my coaches instilled in me.”
He also believes that the grit and endurance instilled by sport can be used to great advantage in the world of entrepreneurship.
“You’re never out of the fight, there’s always a way to win the game.”
Kreimann believes the healthy competition in sports brings out the best in human beings and helps them find their strengths.
“I was not the tallest, or the fastest, or most at most athletic but I was good at understanding the game.”
The Californian entrepreneur has introduced his technical and analytical approach to his robotics business as well.
“I will never lose to a competitor because they outwork me as I’m willing to go the extra mile, which is something that few people are willing to do.”
Kreimann offers a lot of free programs in order to expand the reach of his business and products. He says that he wants to make sure that students have the opportunity to try it.
“I know my programs are high quality. Once they’re given an opportunity to try us, they’re not going to want to go to another competitor because they’re not going to get as much value.”
The former football coach and Dallas Cowboys fan is always looking for ways to make his company and his teams better.
“I want our students to be the best robotics students in the area.”
