Manufacturing journalist and founder of the Manufacturing Media Consortium, Thomas R. Cutler, will meet with editors, publishers, and economists in Egypt from November 15-16, 2021, addressing the increasing global trends in e-commerce and robotic automation. The meeting will also look at the way in which North American manufacturing firms are finally seeing Africa as a unique business strategic partner.
Cutler said, “There has been a dramatic uptick in African members of the Manufacturing Media Consortium in the past year. With heightened interest in the impacts of e-commerce, African nations are working to define, explain, and create their role in the global industrial conversation. Last year in Rwanda, Cutler shared how breakthroughs were possible by accepting the technology opportunities.”
Cutler shared the need for media content is stronger than ever. With national initiatives encouraging fair, safe, and best practices in the manufacturing and industry.
Cutler added that hyper-vertical industrial applications along with a dramatic increase in ETO (engineer-to-order) customization is requisite for long-term growth. He anticipates more than 30 additional meetings between now and 2023 including Europe, Africa, South America, and throughout the United States and Canada. In the interim there will be remote meetings coordinating guidance for editors, reporters, freelancers, and economists worldwide.
Thomas R. Cutler is celebrating the 23-year anniversary of the Manufacturing Media Consortium, a group of 9000+ editors, journalists, freelancers, economists, addressing the industrial sector.
