The tech field is becoming the goldmine of contemporary society. Every day, new technologies are being developed, with technology-related companies around the world reinventing, and repositioning themselves, to remain at the helm of the digital tide. It is essential that children, who are the leaders of tomorrow, have a firm grasp of the basics of technology as a form of preparation for a more digitized world in the coming years. Iria Osara, Tech Story Officer of TYT TechEd, is committed to grooming tech-savvy children, of all ages, for the future.
Iria is passionate about teaching the core basics of tech through an interesting format of stories, videos, and fun activities for toddlers, and has recently included tweens and teens. These resources help them understand the basic tech concepts through engaging storytelling, and by exploring the environment around them. TYT TechEd is not solely focused on exposing these young ones to technology, but also on utilizing their rich resources to teach and instill in them, core moral values that help in character building.
With books such as ABC Techified which is an introductory book for children aged 6 to 12, that relates key concepts to the surrounding things, and includes real-world examples and exercises to build their problem-solving skills, and the Teach Toddlers Tech Programming and Debugging, that is a picture book teaching toddlers aged 3 to 5 about tech, TYT TechEd is helping kids, caregivers, parents and anyone passionate about tech, to better learn and understand tech concepts.
