McPherson, Kan. – June 23, 2020 – PYLE LAW is pleased to announce the creation of two $1,000 scholarships available to Kansas high school graduates who plan to pursue a career in the trades and attend a vocational or technical school in the Fall. The scholarships have been named in honor of founding member’s grandfathers, Edwin T. Pyle and Max L. Starkey. The establishment of these scholarships is a testament to the firm’s commitment to the community they serve and represents an investment in future generations of Kansans.
How to Apply
PYLE LAW believes that community involvement is extremely important, as evidenced by their commitment to helping the injured, supporting charities, and helping the community in any way they can. In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants should write an essay on the following topic:
How would you use your trade to help the community in which you live?
Submissions must be received by August 1st, 2020, to be considered.
Application Guidelines
The firm’s scholarships are intended to help Kansans with the costs of attending a vocational or technical school. As such, PYLE LAW has not made the scholarship available to anyone. In order to be considered:
● You must be a senior or a graduate of a Kansas high school.
● You must be attending a vocational or technical school in the United States in the Fall.
● You must submit a copy of your high school student ID and proof of your vocational or technical school enrollment.
The Max L. Starkey scholarship is for a McPherson County Kansas high school graduate.
The Edwin T. Pyle scholarship is for a Kansas high school graduate.
