The respected British entrepreneur and psychologist Lee Chambers has been chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences to become an executive member and juror of the Anthem Awards.
The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences was founded in 1998, to help drive the creative, technical, purpose-driven & professional progress of the Internet and evolving forms of digital media. The Academy selects the Nominees and Winners for The Webby Awards and The Lovie Awards, which are the leading honors for the Internet and individual achievement in technology and creativity. Executive Members are inducted experts, with over 1000 individuals including the inventor of the Internet Vint Cerf, co-founder of Twitter Biz Stone, founder of The Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and co-founder of Refinery29 Piera Gelardi.
Founded by The Webby Awards in partnership with Ad Council, Born This Way Foundation, Feeding America, GLAAD, Mozilla, NAACP, NRDC, WWF, and XQ, the Anthem Awards is the first major awards platform created exclusively to amplify, honor, and celebrate purpose & mission-driven work. Now in its third year, the Anthem Awards is the biggest and most comprehensive award solely dedicated to purpose & mission-driven work. The program recognizes online and offline projects across seven causes which include: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Sustainability, Climate & Environment, Human & Civil Rights, Humanitarian Action & Services, Health, Education, Art & Culture and Responsible Technology.
