From February 2 to 8, 2025, Gallery YOO, in collaboration with ArtX Gallery in Silicon Valley, presented a children’s art exhibition themed “New Perspectives” in the California Bay Area. The exhibition was co-curated by curator Minying Han and MetaCher, the director of ArtX Gallery, and aimed to showcase the imaginative artistic creations of young children and teenagers.
At the opening ceremony, the artists offered a multi-dimensional artistic experience for the audience through a variety of engaging activities. These included a book club, crafts, food tasting, and live music performances, all contributing to an interactive and creative artistic atmosphere. Five renowned original musicians from the Bay Area—Jun Hu, Lyssa Rose, Gino Yu, The Monitors, and MetaCher—brought their creative original music, adding a unique artistic flair to the exhibition. The audience, particularly the children from California, actively participated in activities like music sessions and the book club, immersing themselves in the endless charm of art and creativity.
The exhibition featured works by young artists from different regions, whose creations were filled with fantasy and reflection, capturing their love for life, hopes for the future, and concerns about social issues. Through bold colors, lines, and expressive compositions, the works showcased the unique perspectives and limitless imagination of the children. The exhibition aimed to inspire young people to express themselves through art, explore the world, and share their inner worlds with the audience.
As part of the Silicon Valley Children’s Exhibition, the list of participating artists also highlighted young creators from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Wang Yining, Wang Yihe, Sia (Xi Yunqi), Enran Wang, Chen Yunan, Zhang Yan, Liu Wanshu, Leo (Zheng Chuxi), Koki Yasuda, Harvey Xu, Wu Xinyu, Katelyn Li, Hanhan, Yu Qinqi, Harper Xu, Laila Li, Deyu Kong, Xinghao Qi, Zhaoyan Bu, Yimu Bu, Hao Zirui, Emma Meng, Molly Mao, Shrinika Gambhir, Beiyi Li, Kayla Liu, Evelyn Li, Celine Hsu, Evelyn Liang, Chloe Chung, Raeya Chang, Jayden Liang, Chelsea Yeh, Eugene Hsu, Amelia Wang, and others. Each piece was filled with inspiration and creativity, demonstrating the artistic potential of the younger generation.
The organizers, ArtX Gallery and Gallery YOO, stated: “Art is the language of the soul, and children’s artistic creations are the purest form of emotional expression. Through this exhibition, we hope to encourage children to bravely express themselves, explore the unknown, and inspire their love for art and the endless possibilities of the future.”
