Autism and mental health advocate, Louis Scarantino, announces plans to launch a website as he expands his reach to more people worldwide
Louis Scarantino is taking his autism advocacy and mental health awareness to another level as he recently announced plans to launch a new website. The goal is to reach as many people as possible and help them understand the subject of autism and how to help patients. In a related development, Louis Scarantino is currently working on becoming a certified motivational speaker, a move that will help him address the concerns of more people across age groups and enable patients to push boundaries.
“Autism doesn’t stop me from doing anything my heart desires. Autism doesn’t own me, I own it,” said Louis Scarantino. “I think more people with Autism should share their stories if they haven’t done so already. Different voices and different experiences help. More nonprofits with autism should be founded. More walks with autism should be held. More media attention on autism should be considered. More people with autism should have opportunities to speak on it.”
According to a report from the World Health Organization (WHO), one in 100 children worldwide has autism. The disturbing stats remain a major concern for millions of people in different parts of the world and a recent report by Allied Market Research that the global mental health market is projected to grow from $383.31 billion in 2020 to reach $537.97 billion by 2030 further substantiates the need for more attention to autism and related conditions. While a good number of measures and resources have been put in place to address autism and mental health, more needs to be done in this regard, which explains the drive by Louis and his decision to launch a new website.
Louis Scarantino obtained a motivational speaker certification and finished at IAP Career College and joining the IAPO for Motivational Speakers. He is also an author, blog writer, vlogger, and renowned poet in the autism/insane fitness field, with some of his books including Finding Love On the Spectrum: An ASD Guide to Dating and Autism: The Unstoppable Achiever.
