Sea Hawkers Booster Club is the Official Booster Club of the Seattle Seahawks and in line with the organization’s goal of spreading the word and creating more awareness about the Seattle Seahawks, the Middle Tennessee chapter of the Sea Hawkers Booster Club is set to be officially launched in May 2019. The organizational formation is scheduled to hold on the 25th of May 2019 with the agenda including the nomination of key officials as well as the discussion of the formation of the bylaws guiding the organization.
The Sea Hawkers Booster Club was established as far back as 1976 with the sole aim of taking the love for the Seahawks and helping the community right alongside them. Since it was founded over 4 decades ago, the non-profit has grown with several chapters in the United States and across the globe, all staying true to the primary goal of establishing the organization. It is in the same vein that a new chapter in Tennessee is set to be officially launched, consequently bringing the good cause of the Sea Hawkers Booster Club closer to the people of Tennessee.
The organizational formation meeting will give an opportunity for attendees and other such interested persons to put in place a solid framework or foundation for the organization. Some of the important agenda items of the meeting include the nomination and eventual voting of key officials of the organization by those in attendance that want to form this Middle Tennessee Sea Hawkers Chapter. The positions open for nomination and voting are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Membership Coordinator.
The name of the chapter will also be deliberated on with attendees given the chance to nominate and vote on the official name of the chapter. The formational BYLAWS of the chapter will also be discussed and then voted on. This ensures that the chapter is not only given the best possible foundation to build a strong structure but will also ensure that the Middle Tennessee chapter of the Sea Hawkers is set up in line with the core principles of Sea Hawkers Booster Club.
The meeting will be held at the Nashville Public Library Donelson Branch Meeting Room from 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Interested attendees are advised to be at the venue 10 minutes early as the doors will be closed to any show up after 2:50 pm just to not disrupt the meeting and so all in attendance have time to have their questions answered without interruption.
Organizers of the Middle Tennessee Sea Hawkers have also reiterated that the organization is not a replacement for the TennesSeahawks or any other watch party group going on at all.
