Miami, FL – With the confirmed arrival of various elite global players to Major League Soccer like the Argentine Lionel Messi and English Billy Sharp, many are waiting on the decision of Colombian defender David Castro.

Castro’s arrival to US soccer was long awaited and has already showed to be a successful bid. Castro has played exhibition games at the US League One level satisfying MLS team demands to show he can adapt to US soccer style of play.

At USL, Castro has scored 8 goals no small feat for a defender.

“Castro has the advantage to have played in Europe, Africa and South America so he offers a unique combination style of soccer that is impressive to any US team,” said Damon Presley a player agent.

With more than 50 goals, 20,000 minutes on the pitch and having won three major international tournaments on two different continents is the level of experience the MLS is looking for as it recruits the best of the best.

New York FC or LA Glaxy are said to be Castro’s next stop causing a frenzy in the Colombian-American community who are faithfully following Castro’s every move.

Both markets are heavily Colombian making his decision to go to New York or Miami not only another great step in a stellar football career but also commercially profitable,” concluded Presley.
