Nati Budoc and Mike Blackburn are seeking $17,000 in donations by Oct. 26, 2016 for the development of their new retail app which will allow customers to track and pay for products more conveniently.
“Our App will ease and speed the transactions between the customers and local businesses,” Budoc said. “It will also allow precise shipment information.”
The app, called “Where are My Goods,” is designed to give customers the exact day and time of the order that needs to be picked up with the built-in GPS and countdown functions. Blackburn also emphasized the convenience factor that will be provided when their app is put to use, such as reducing long waiting lines for purchases.
“Our app needs your support for a successful completion,” he stated. “By backing our project you will enable the release of a great app on the market, which would provide a better customer experience at your local pharmacies, vision centers, optometrists, dry-cleaners, and restaurants.”
There are seven levels of pledges from $3 to $1,000 with rewards in the Kickstarter campaign. The lowest level includes a free download of the app before its release. Higher levels include the free download plus t-shirts, pens, bottle-openers and more.
“Our app will reduce long lines by speeding up the payment process through the use of a Qr code reader,” Blackburn stated.
Budoc and Blackburn of Orange, California are two teachers who recently launched their own start-up company, IPA (Innovative Project Apps), which focuses on turning ideas into Apps with the help of innovative, creative mobile App developers.
Almet Systems (http://almet-systems.com/) is the app developing company working with them to put their idea for “Where are My Goods” out on the internet market. Almet has already developed and released successful apps which have won first place on the App store.
“Our developers Almet Systems have already started working on our app since the beginning of the month of August, and are halfway done,” Budoc said. “As all start-up companies, we operate on limited funding and would be greatly appreciative of your generous donation to bring our project to fruition.”
