A new COVID-19 relief fund will soon be available for both individuals and small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The new relief fund will provide $15,000 grants to small businesses and $2,500 grants to individuals. The grants do not have to be paid back.

The new COVID-19 relief fund is being funded by a group of corporations that have pooled funds. It is rumored that some of those corporations include AT&T, Exxon Mobil, General Motors, Home Depot and Target. The official list of corporate funders will be listed on the relief fund’s website when it launches in the upcoming weeks. The relief fund was set up by Brandon Lewis, President of Lewis Revenue Group, an investment firm in North Carolina. Lewis also administers and oversees the relief fund.

There will be up to $250 million available for small businesses and up to $150 million for individuals. With a total of up to $400 million available this will be one of the largest corporate funded COVID-19 relief funds available to date. The magnitude of this fund is followed closely by TikTok who pledged $375 million for COVID-19 relief efforts.

The website will include a simple streamlined application for both individuals and small businesses. The $2,500 grants for individuals will be limited to those who made $75,000 or less in 2019. The $15,000 grants for small businesses will be limited to small businesses with 200 employees or less.

The relief fund is expected to be available around the beginning of next month.
