NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR SWISS CITIZENS
As of 1 October 2019, the Electronic Travel Authority for New Zealand is mandatory for visa-exempt visitors, including Swiss citizens. As a Swiss citizen, it is very easy to visit New Zealand. Swiss citizens can now travel to New Zealand with NZeTA, an electronic travel authorization that you can easily access online from your smartphone or PC. All eligible travelers must apply for the New Zealand eTA visa waiver before visiting the country.
eTA New Zealand document requirements for nationals of Switzerland
- Passport with at least 3 months of remaining validity after the date of intended exit from New Zealand
- A filled-out eTA New Zealand for Switzerland online application form

NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR ICELAND CITIZENS
Since July 2019, Icelandic citizens have required an eTA for New Zealand. Icelandic citizens require a New Zealand visa for stays up to 90 days. Icelandicpassport holders can use the New Zealand Travel Electronic Authority (NZeTA) to enter New Zealand without obtaining a New Zealand visa from Iceland for a period of 90 days under the Visa Waiver Program which began in 2009. Icelandic passport holders are required to obtain a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authorization (NZeTA), even for a short duration of 1 day to 90 days. NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR BAHRAIN CITIZENS
Since July 2019, Bahraini citizens have required an eTA for New Zealand. The Bahrain-New Zealand visa is not optional but is a mandatory requirement for all citizens of Bahrain traveling to the country for short stays. Bahraini citizens require a New Zealand visa for stays up to 90 days. Bahraini passport holders can enter New Zealand without obtaining a New Zealand visa from Bahrain for a period of 90 days from the New Zealand Travel Electronic Authority (NZeTA) under the Visa Waiver Scheme which was introduced in 2009. Bahrain passport holders are required to obtain a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authorization (NZeTA), even for a short duration of 1 day to 90 days. If Bahraini nationals intend to stay longer, they may need to apply for an appropriate visa depending on their circumstances.

NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR TAIWAN CITIZENS
Visiting New Zealand as a Taiwanese citizen is easy thanks to a mutual visa waiver agreement between Taiwan and New Zealand. Effective October 1, 2019, Taiwanese citizens must apply for an NZeTA before traveling to New Zealand. Although not a visa, the New Zealand eTA is a mandatory requirement to visit the country. The application is easy to fill out online. Taiwanese visitors can stay in New Zealand for tourism purposes for up to 90 consecutive days with electronic Travel Authority, NZeTA. The NZeTA for Taiwanese citizens allows multiple entries during its 2-year validity and grants a stay of 90 consecutive days on each entry. The tourist tax only has to be paid once. The NZeTA-E application system is available online for Taiwanese citizens.

How much time do I need to get the New Zealand eTA from Taiwan?
Once approved, the NZeTA is electronically linked to the applicant’s passport, eliminating the need to stamp the passport at border control. Once you have completed the application form and submitted your payment to start your NZeTA application, most applications will take one business day to process. Travelers are advised to submit their request at least 3 working days before the departure date to allow enough time in case they need to submit additional documents.
