Boston, MA – SixWallz, a Boston based tech startup, soft launched their new relocation web app NextBurb.com this month. NextBurb aims to be the premier resource for both individuals and companies who are relocating.
This comes after the company was featured in the Boston Globe earlier this year highlighting their goals on cornering the ever-growing market of people that are relocating. Between socio-economic factors and the coronavirus, 2020 has seen a record number of people relocating both temporarily and permanently.
According to SixWallz CEO Nitesh Mehrotra, this was the trend that inspired the creation of NextBurb. “The remote work revolution has opened up a world of possibility for the everyday worker, and now people are rethinking where they can and want to live. We believe this trend is here to stay even beyond COVID, and we feel our app will be a great resource for anyone doing research on where to move and relocate.”
The web app provides detailed demographic and economic data on just about every major metro and suburb in the United States. It also gives the user the ability to compare two different places to live. One of the best features for movers are the ranked lists of best places to live in certain metros and states, which can be filtered based on school ratings, commute times, cost of living, and crime rates.
Mehrotra added, “Relocating can be a daunting task for anyone. Our goal is to take the guess work out of picking an area to live. By giving the user the ability to scout out an area before relocating, we’re removing much of the anxiety that comes with finding a new place to call home.”
NextBurb plans to launch their desktop version by the new year, with even more features and user filters that will make the relocation process smooth and easy.
