About Stephen Probst: Stephen Probst is a man of many hats and countless experiences. Born and raised in Texas, he was no stranger to rebellion and mischief in his youth. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he joined the US Army upon high school graduation. Serving two combat tours in Vietnam with the 75th Infantry Airborne Rangers, Probst has openly credited his time in the military with turning his life around. He has said, “I cannot imagine how my life would have been if I hadn’t joined.”
Throughout his life, Probst’s career path has been a reflection of his adventurous spirit and willingness to embrace new challenges. He has transitioned from an apprentice electrician to a Master Electrician and project manager, and later ventured into the field of engineering as an electrical designer, non-degree engineer, and department manager. Concurrently, he found teaching to be a rewarding pursuit and served as an Adjunct Professor in the Electrical Technology Department of San Jacinto College for eight years.
