After a two-year hiatus during the pandemic, Shark Tank’s Kevin Harrington released two new episodes of his TV show Get Down to Business. The original “Shark” aired the show’s 7th episode on FOX Business on Saturday, March 25th, and featured interviews with six renowned entrepreneurs and business leaders. Each segment provides a behind-the-scenes look into industry secrets that span creative business funding, book publishing, and even features several bestselling “Authors to Watch.”
Harrington said his plan was to “dive more deeply into financial resources and personal growth” for his core audience. As the pioneer of the As Seen on TV industry and international icon, Harrington has spoken on many stages throughout the world. His fan base of followers are constantly seeking advice and direction when it comes to entrepreneurship, wealth, and living their best lives.
“I get approached every day by people all over the world, and 99% of the time, they’re asking about money. ‘How do I raise capital for my business?’ ‘How can I maximize my financial future?’ Well, my new episodes of Get Down to Business are answering a lot of these questions…” Kevin kicked off the episode by interviewing Founder and President of ERC Provider, the radiant Sunshine Chapman. Her company helps small business owners claim their maximum Employee Retention Credits. Kevin conveyed his shock that businesses are still missing out on hundreds of thousands in tax credits for their W-2 employees on staff in 2020 and beyond. Sunshine specializes in industries including hospitality, medical, construction, transportation, and retail, helping business owners take advantage of this limited-time program.
Harrington was then joined by Score Capital CEO Brian Sciortino. Score Capital connects business owners with the top financing solutions available per their needs and credentials. The company has a network of over 40 lending programs, ranging from SBA loans and equipment financing to credit lines and merchant cash advances.
Jason Wood, CEO and Founder of Specificity Inc, joined Kevin to discuss hyper-focused digital marketing and how the business uses location targeting, search targeting, and criteria targeting as the winning formula to drive sales and reduce costs in marketing. Specificity allows clients to zero in on a very small area so impressions aren’t wasted on adjacent businesses or neighborhoods. During the discussion, Jason reinforced the importance of the Specificity slogan: “Having better targeting is the secret to your marketing.”
Presenting his “Authors to Watch” segment, Kevin interviewed Christopher Masiello, renowned entrepreneur, author, speaker, and empowerment leader. Masiello recently published a Wall Street Journal bestselling book titled Change, Short and Simple, available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com, and other major booksellers. In his book, Christopher presents an array of strategies to shift perspective on how to address, accept, and leverage change.
For his next Author to Watch, Harrington featured inspirational speaker, mentor, and corporate leadership coach Ocean Eagle. Ocean recently launched his Amazon bestselling book, The Gift of Inspirations, and has three more books in the works for release in 2023. Ocean Eagle is also the founder of Activation Breathwork, as well as a facilitator of powerful, life-changing retreats and workshops in Arizona and beyond.
Maintaining the theme of bestselling authors and highlighting the book business in general, Kevin welcomed J.J. Hebert in his next segment. J.J. is a USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author and the CEO of Mindstir Media, his highly-rated book publishing company. Kevin mentions his own ongoing partnership with J.J. and Mindstir on multiple author and book endorsement projects, along with their upcoming business anthology. Mindstir has published over 1000 books, many of which are bestsellers and award-winners.
Through these expert interviews and company spotlights, Harrington provides viewers with valuable guidance and inspiration for their own entrepreneurial endeavors. Short segments mean quickly drilling into important topics, allowing for a breadth of experiences and ideas in each episode.
As Kevin puts it, “I really believe that viewers will get a ton of value out of just the 4 or 5 minutes of Q&A I spend with each of these guests on the show. Hearing from industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs is the true formula for creating your own wealth.”
Individual segments and full episodes are available on YouTube.
