Artist and Photographer, Sandy Ennis, has compiled a tribute of memorable photographs taken throughout the years of the peaceful life on the beauty of the prairies in Alberta. The allure of living off the land was the dream that became her reality five years ago when she and her husband purchased three acres of land to begin a life of sustainable living.  Life with her husband and three dogs is paradise as the acreage is encompassed by a vast forested area.  Of the three acres, two have been equipped with a four-and-a-half-foot metal wire fence with treated wood fence posts.  Ennis and her husband built the fence with manual labor.  The dogs enjoy the large area where they run, the gardens are protected and thrive during the growing season, and the chickens live safely without the threat of predators.

In celebration of five years on the acreage, a tribute to embrace the memories through photographs is available on 8” x 12” x ¾” limited edition canvas prints.  The ultimate goal is to create a collection from the area with others who share the passion for the region and naturally talented creations.  Ultimately, the vision is to expand sales to a common retail website where the art pieces can be purchased online.

The entire collection is entitled “The Acreage – Our Piece of Paradise.”  With a limited release of 100 for each of the six different canvas prints.  Numbered prints with the individual titled series labeled on the back of each canvas print accompanies each canvas print.

The Kickstarter campaign, located on the web at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1078439390/the-acreage-our-piece-of-paradise, offers pledge levels of $10 and $75.  For those dedicated to contributing to the arts, a $10 pledge is gladly accepted.
