The co-founder of Just One Dime, Seth has trained over 10,000 entrepreneurs in over 150 countries, 27 of whom are multi-millionaires today. Seth’s team grows the Amazon store for one of the sharks from the Shark Tank TV show, runs a sourcing team in China and multiple fulfillment centers across the US, and was requested by two countries to train their top businesses.

Q: Seth, welcome and thank you for talking to us. Tell us how Just One Dime came about? What inspired you to set up this community?

Seth Kniep: Thank you so much! I was tired of corporacracy. I was fed up with the games and politics of the corporate world. It didn’t just make my day hours miserable, but started impacting my home life.

A tiny idea—like a mustard seed—took root in my heart and began to grow: “What if you find a way out? What if you can totally change your situation? Some day your story will give others hope too.” So I set out, a broken man but armed with a single dime.

Q: You’ve always said that it was hard work and effort that got you here. What made you want to help other entrepreneurs?

SK: Well, it was more than hard work. It was mindset. I had to make a decision that I am responsible for my success. Not the government. Not my upbringing. Not the economy. I began to realize that although life can hurt deeply at times, life does not happen to me but for me. And I wanted to others to see this too.

This gave me the mindset to actually start. Looking back, having tested many many money-making endeavors, building a business on Amazon is the fastest path to cash flow that I know. It’s hard. It’s exhilarating. And it can be life-changing if you know how to do it.

Q: What’s your greatest achievement, in your own words?

SK: Great question. Thanks for stumping me (hahaha!). Hmmm. Grace. Receiving and giving grace. Everyone messes up. I’ve messed up more times than dimes I’ve doubled. Grace means I have permission to be forgiven and try again. Grace means it’s okay to fail along the path to success. Grace means one’s worth is based on something deeper than their performance. And because of this, I was able to fight my way into building a life of freedom for my family. Today we can live almost anywhere in the world, while still making money, selling on Amazon.
