Today, Sonet Lumiere Music Publishing Group has been confirmed as the 1st African American music publishing company in the USA owned and operated by a woman. The company provides a broad range of services that includes publishing administration, business registration, business card design, EIN and Dun & Bradstreet registrations, copyright and trademark registrations, artist registrations, contract creation. The company has three divisions, which are registered with the top performance music associations in the USA and beyond. Sonet Lumiere is a proud member of HFA (Harry Fox Agency), NMPA (National Music Publishers Association), AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) among others.

Since its creation, Sonet Lumiere has helped publish and manage some artists to stardom and success. In 2008, the company received credit on Flame’s album entitled “Our World Redeemed” for the song, it’s You ft Robert “Don” Barham, which peaked at number five on the Billboard chart March 2008. The album was later nominated for 2009 Grammy, Dove and Stellar Awards in the Rap/Hip Hop Gospel Album of the Year category.
