New York – 15th August, 2017 – Square Circle New York, a reputable academy of martial arts in its mission to give a lifetime empowerment to children is pleased to announce the opening for enrollment into the academy for the 2017-2018 school calendar. The program is designed to help children and teens build their character, confidence and integrity for their personal growth and success. The program will start on September 5, 2017 after Labor Day and lasts 9 months until June 4, 2018.
Square Circle New York offers a world-class martial arts instruction which makes the academy to be considered by many as one of the best in the world. SCNY gives opportunities to children interested in learning Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The core values of the academy are built upon respect, reputation and hard work. Muay Thai Youth program is one of the classes offered by the academy and is meant for children as young as 5 years old to age 16 years. The program will improve children’s confidence, self-esteem, fitness and leadership skills. In addition, taking responsibility, respect and humility which are the foundation and basis of good character are thought in this program. The curriculum does not just focus on discipline and self-defense skills but also provide life skill lessons to children. Classes are taught with child’s physical and mental well-being given the utmost attention.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu “BJJ” which is another program of SCNY is a martial art and combat sport that teaches a smaller person how to defend themselves against a larger adversary by using leverage and proper technique on specific areas of the body. This grappling based martial art is open to students of all levels that want to either start their training or continue it with our experienced instructors. Square Circle New York is dedicated to teaching our students the very best in BJJ. Along with the cumulative knowledge of this martial art, students sharpen their technique, skill, and dexterity needed for sport or competition Jiu-Jitsu, or for their own confidence and self-defense.
