Telesis Marking Systems are proud to announce that they will be attending the upcoming Medical Technology Ireland EXPO and Conference in Galway, Ireland. The event starts at the world renowned Ballybrit Racecourse on September 27th.
Telesis is the worldwide leader in permanent laser, dot peen and scribe marking systems. On behalf of the Telesis International Group, Telesis Marking Systems, based in the UK, will be attending the Galway event and will be demonstrating the Group’s specialist medical marking solutions.
Manufacturers of implantable medical devices such as artificial joints, plates, and screws are required to comply with complex EU regulations relating to product labelling. Taking into consideration the safety and wellbeing of patients as well as traceability and compliance, it is essential that any identification marks on the product last through extended use.
Telesis has various solutions in response to this challenge. The first is the F-Series range of fibre lasers – and you will be able to see this high-performance technology at the Galway event. The Telesis F-Series lasers make delicate annealed marks without causing any superficial damage to the device or implant, so preventing bacteria growth and corrosion. Low maintenance yet highly dependable, these lasers produce consistently precise results.
Another solution you will find on display at the Medical Technology Ireland fair is the Integrated InLine Vision System. Implantable devices like bone screws and plates must be manufactured to extremely tight tolerances so repeatability of process and uniformity of product become very important factors. With small surfaces for product identification, satisfying those factors becomes a challenge. The Integrated InLine Vision System has an internal camera to combine marking, reading and grading of data matrix codes within one system which fulfils these specific manufacturing requirements.
All Telesis customers are supported by a worldwide team of knowledgeable engineers ready to offer training, installation and pattern design and ongoing support to meet customer needs and requirements.
Founded in 1971, Telesis is widely renowned as the industry leader. Consistently innovative, their highly qualified and experienced engineers have the knowledge and expertise to ensure that their laser marking solutions continue to meet the needs of the medical industry.
