The CEO of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange has made the statement for a popular source Bloomberg. He has told that profitability of his company will reach 1 billion dollars in 2018.

Despite recent difficulties in work of the platform, Zhao Chanpen has said that the profit of the cryptocurrency exchanges doesn’t depend on market prices of cryptocurrencies. Zhao has also noticed not the most active growing of Bitcoin which can’t overcome more than a month a boundary of 7000 dollars. But despite all factors and instability of the market – income of Binance for the first half of the year has made about 300 million dollars.

Binance is a top the exchange with one of the highest volumes. In the last 24 hours volume was 1,2 billion dollars.

At the moment Binance will open new platforms in Uganda and on Bermuda. The number of users of the platform enormous also is 10 million people.

For comparison, other famous exchanges Huobi and Coinbase, also open branches in new jurisdictions. Huobi started in Australia on July 5, and plans to begin operations in London in the near future. And Coinbase plans expansion to Japan meanwhile.
