The Continents States University began its journey when founder Ricky Madison realized that 84 percent of people in most countries are still illiterate. The university was then founded as a nonprofit private foundation for public benefit with international accreditation.
Moving away from university seat time in favor of a flexible structure allows students to progress as they demonstrate mastery of academic content, regardless of time, place, or pace of learning. The university competency-based strategies provide students with personalized learning opportunities while also earning or award credit. Online and blended learning, dual enrollment and early college high schools, project-based and community-based learning, and credit recovery are just a few of the strategies available. Because it is relevant to each student and tailored to their specific needs, this type of learning results in higher student engagement. It also leads to better student outcomes because the pace of learning is tailored to each student’s needs. Competency-based learning systems help save time and money by allowing students to master skills at their own pace, depending on the strategy used. Each of these presents an opportunity to improve efficiency and productivity.
The Continents States University is mostly free, with competency-based learning modules. It will enable many students to continue working on their life responsibilities, care for their families, and pursue their dreams while earning an accredited degree.
The university charges a one-time non-refundable fifty-dollar fee to process an admission application and evaluate admission standards for issuing an acceptance letter for each year the students continue to be members of the learning community.
Consider the possibility of gaining access to higher education for a low fee; this will instill confidence in students and motivate them to succeed.
Is it a legitimate university that can be trusted?
Yes, ASIC has accredited it as an institutionally accredited university. ASIC is a government-appointed accreditation agency that is recognized by the United Kingdom Visa and Immigration. They are members of the CHEA International Quality Group in the United States and are listed in their directory, BQF (British Quality Foundation), and EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).
Why is it almost free?
Many people all over the world require education but cannot afford it. While many people have the opportunity to complete their education, others do not! It’s time to give something back. Dr. Ricky Madison, the university’s founder, stated, “Across the continents, free education should be a right, not a privilege.”
Should students enroll at this university?
Students no longer need to be concerned because they attend a university with a well-established mission and international government-approved accreditation. The Continents States University designed its mission to put students first and provide the most affordable education available anywhere in the world; it would leave students in no doubt.
