August 22nd, 2017 – Introduced by The Global Fashion Jewelry and Accessories Council (“JAC”), JA+ the 100 Most Influential Awards will bring enhanced recognition and brand awareness to the most exciting and up and coming designers from around the world. Using a carefully assembled network of Public Relations and media marketing channels, our designers will have the opportunity for great exposure on the international stage which will significantly boost global recognition.
Membership for The Global JAC consists of over five thousand (5,000) professional fashion jewelry and accessory industry leaders from around the world. The variety of cultural backgrounds and influences in the products offered is amazing. Owing to the Council’s passion to train and develop the fashion industry’s young talent, the platform of the JAC is open-source so the members will be able to share and exchange ideas that will reshape the economics of fashion. The Council provides a global network which will allow the designers to market themselves to other more established designers, the media, fashion magazines and more. There will also be opportunities for collaboration with other designers that will assist in building a world-class portfolio.

The awards categories fall under fashion jewelry, fashion Accessories, scarves, sunglasses, handbags, wearable tech and watches. The specific awards given will be Best of Best 2017 Awards, World Fashion Jewelry and Accessories Brand Award, Best e-Commerce Award, Best Innovation Award, Media Choice Award, 30 under 30 and Most Influential Honour Award.
Entrants will have the opportunity for their designs to be showcased in the 2017 Fashion Jewelry and Accessories Yearbook andthey will be interviewed by leading industry media such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Refinerry29 and more. All interested professional fashion jewelry and accessory designers, companies, manufacturers or professionals in the industry and students from related disciplines are eligible to enter. Once the entries have closed preliminary judging starts on November 25, 2017 with final judging on November 30, 2017. The results will be announced on our webpage on December 10, 2017 and it will culminate at The Global Jewelry and Accessories Council Awards Ceremony On December 30, 2017.
