CiC Colbert, Owner of Alla Herbs
CiCi, the owner of Alla Herbs, life was significantly enhanced mentally, physically and emotionally years ago after making simple changes in her lifestyle while incorporating herbs and natural ingredients. As a result, she gained a zeal to share the simplicity of maintaining well being and strives to change the perception that practicing wellness is difficult. She is now an advocate of the benefits of herbs and easy wellness. She currently specializes in manufacturing holistic self care products that promote relaxation, and balance in our busy lives. Thanks to the Tempe Manufacturers Grant, she was able to expand her product line, invest in cutting-edge equipment, and scale her production capabilities for local business partnerships. She has now set up shop in the same coworking warehouse location Salthbox in South Tempe, alongside other inspiring business owners. Find out more about Alla Herbs at https://www.allaherbs.com.
Tadesha Tinson, Owner of RPH Beauty
Tadesha Tinson, the owner of RPH Beauty, is making her mark in the beauty product industry with her cruelty-free products. As a licensed pharmacist, Kadesha originally wanted to create a soap that would keep her hands clean in her work environment while not stripping them of their natural moisture. As a result of the funding, she has moved into the coworking warehouse space, gained the equipment needed for production, and expanded her collection of beauty products with a focus on natural ingredients. She is now thriving in the same coworking warehouse space, creating more brand awareness of her company. Find out more about RPH Beauty at https://www.rphbeauty.com
Charlotte Young Bowen
Charlotte Young Bowen, an entrepreneur with a passion for manufacturing and innovation, was also a grant recipient. Her company, Conscious Gear is changing the story about being active as a plus size person. Her personal story of not finding hydration vests in sizes to fit her physique, motivated her to be the first to create them. Charlotte is now manufacturing hydration vests for outside active plus size people and shipping nationally. She has become an advocate and supporter for those who are plus size and outdoors active. The funding has allowed her to grow in inventory, and warehouse space and she is gaining national exposure as a result. Find out more at Conscious Gear at https://www/concisiousgear.com
