The 42nd Annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, organized by the University of Southern California, was held last weekend, April 23- 24, 2022 at the USC Campus, CA. Running in tandem as an exhibitor at the book fair was URLink Print and Media and other traditional publishers and self-publishing companies all over the U.S.A.
The LA Times welcomed more than hundreds of exhibitors to deliver a brand-new experience to visitors, with an array of books, leisure activities, and tasty treats. The book fair also featured 500 writers, musicians, artists, and chefs, and had over 150,000 attendees transforming the 226-acre campus into a vibrant cultural festival in the heart of the Downtown Arts and Education Corridor.
After being rescheduled twice amid the volatility of the pandemic, URLink Print and Media were delighted that the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books Fair has finally resumed its face to face activities. USC organizers made sure stricter measures for security and safety with attendees wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and presenting a vaccination card upon entry were observed.
URLink Print and Media showcased the best book titles produced and represented by them. The exhibition also introduced several inspirational authors and their works through book signings. On the first day, Constantine Grey author of Holier Than Thou did the grand opening of their booth, followed by Robert V. Joseph author of Words From The Spirit and Mark L. Hardy author of books Lasterday, My Witness and The Swimmer’s Promise. Harle Tinney author of The Ghosts of Belcourt Castle made the day for the booth. On Day 2, they again had Constantine Grey and lastly, Rex Nelson Greenwald author of One Lifetime is Not Enough concluded URLink’s booth. These authors presented and discussed the stages of their careers giving fair goers a deeper appreciation of their creative journeys from different perspectives and encouraging them to seek out books that can motivate and inspire.
The people who were not able to attend the fair were also given a chance to have a glimpse of the fruitful event as URLink Print and Media went on Facebook live, definitely an over-the-top exertion from them.
