US Visa for Iceland and Irish Citizens: What to expect now

To visit the United States for any purpose (tourism, business, or transit) for up to ninety days, Icelandic citizens must first apply for a visa. For trips to the United States lasting fewer than 90 days, all Icelandic citizens must have a valid visa. Getting a visa to enter Iceland is mandatory and cannot be avoided.
