Los Angeles, CA (Dec 22, 2016) – Toby (Alexander Chance) is a failed accountant trying to earn a living as a rather unsuccessful hit man, until one cold Christmas night he accidentally pulls the trigger on his own boss and becomes the target of a ruthless Russian mafia lord (Zbigniew Zamachowski), an amateur extortionist, trigger-happy bumbling cops and a gorgeous sex starved blonde from hell (Magdalena Lamparska). Classic hijinks ensue and likea whirling tornado, Toby and his uptight vegan wife Melanie (Charlotte Kirk) are at the center of it all.
No Panic, With a Hint of Hysteria boasts a colorful cast of off-beat characters attempting to all get a piece of Toby in one way or another. At a hilariously fast pace, Toby and Melanie try to hide the body and thwart both the malicious mafia gang and Keystone cops with the help of Chester, a private eye (Stephen Baldwin). Not since the comedy classic Weekend at Bernies has a corpse been a key character.. and like Home Alone, No Panic, With a Hint of Hysteria delivers the same comdey antics.
Guns, cops, weird cemetery types and death itself won’t be enough to stop Toby in his mission to extricate himself from a messy situation – while discovering some much needed redemption along the way. Beautifully shot with saturated colors and a festive holiday backdrop, complete with a cheery Yuletide soundtrack, No Panic, With a Hint of Hysteria is the perfect movie to curl up on the couch with a blanket and some egg nog and laugh your ornaments off.
