Violet is a six-year-old human girl, who has been adopted by the Yeti couple and is convinced of her Yeti identity. She was rescued and raised by this kind Yeti couple after she, as a tiny human baby, was found abandoned and lost in the snow. Now as she is already six, she insists to go to the annual yeti festival in the Yeti Town while her adoptive parents are concerned about her being excluded from other Yetis once they find out who she really is. So players are required to take the task to escort Violet to attend this Yeti Festival while solving a pile of puzzles in the middle of the journey.

Violet is Blue belongs to novice quest without specific requirements. So it’s available to all Runescape Players. It is a festive quest that aims at embracing and celebrating Christmas Day in the game. Jagex has decided to permanently remain “Violet is Blue” Quest as a reserved show in the game instead of canceling it after the event like most other quests. So it titles the Violet is Blue quest as the second permanent quest in Runescape since Broken Home has remained forever in the game after 2014 Halloween event.
