Why Should People Play World of Warcraft?

World of Warcraft was the first MMO of its kind that gave me a look into the genre that I wound up falling in love with. The beauty of WoW is that it paved the way for many other games like Star Trek Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Guild Wars 2. World of Warcraft is full of lore and quests, and there are many things to do after you reach level 110.

The task of starting a new game that has 110 levels might seem tedious and daunting to you, but it really isn’t as bad as it may seem. There are a number of reasons as to why someone should check out any video game, whether it be World of Warcraft or The Sims, two titles that have a ton of content to explore upon starting a brand new game. As with any game, you have your pros & cons; this includes World of Warcraft. However, in this article, we will be primarily covering all of the pros about WoW and why it’s a game you should consider playing if you’ve been on the fence about it, or maybe to help talk your friend into playing who you’ve been trying to persuade for some time.

World of Warcraft The Community

The community is a big selling point for many, and a large reason why many players stick around for so long. You can make friends and meet new people as you play, sometimes building lifelong friendships, and in some instances, meeting the love of your life in this miraculous world. You may even find that one person you don’t know in real life, but feel completely comfortable confiding in. After all, sometimes it is easier to tell a stranger something than it is someone you know face to face.

One of my favorite parts of the game is the social interaction. I used to get bullied constantly when I was in school, and it made me somewhat shy. If you got to know me, though, I was pretty outgoing, and when I discovered online gaming in the form of World of Warcraft, I was in heaven. No one made fun of me, I fit in, and I even had people try to help me without being forced to by a teacher – and that felt pretty good.

In the gaming community, we all share a mutual love and it’s great when you can find someone in a game that you play and bond well with.

Open-World Concept

Many gamers do not like to feel limited in exploration, and a lot of wow gold games don’t have such a profound open-world concept as WoW. There is no limit to your explorations, except of course game exploits like going under Stormwind or Orgrimmar. Some places that you might try to explore are banned, so be sure you’re not doing anything that requires an exploit, such as wall-jumping.
