Innovative social enterprise, Tykoons, celebrate their official launch with the Life-size Lego Contest, a mega family-friendly business idea contest for children
The team at Tykoons is making the grandest possible entry as the social enterprise officially launches with a big contest – The Life-Size Lego Contest. Tykoons aims to develop the entrepreneurial spirit in children, helping to build their creativity and set them up for financial independence while also ensuring they grow to become responsible adults and contribute to the betterment of the world.
Kids are often creative and innovative, with their free-spiritedness often leading them to unconsciously offer amazing solutions to problems. However, very little has been done to harness the potential of children across the globe, often leading to tons of untapped ideas and solutions. The situation is not particularly different in the business world, which is where Tykoons is looking to make a difference by bringing out the innovativeness in kids and helping them transform it into a business venture. Tykoons goes above and beyond in their cause; the company offers mentoring, partnerships, and most importantly investments for anyone under 18 to launch a business.
Tykoons will be launching as a social enterprise, introducing themselves through the Life-size Lego Contest. The fun contest will engage parents and their kids, requiring children to come up with any business ideas they have. The parents will subsequently make a post of the children talking about the idea, posting it on the Tykoons Facebook page or tagging the enterprise on Twitter. The best idea will win a life-sized lego of themselves.
As part of the goal of increasing awareness about entrepreneurship in children and providing opportunities for kids to explore their inner entrepreneur, Tykoons will be doing a promotion for donations. Each donor over $50 monthly gets a special gift bag, including things for both the children and the parents. 50 donors will also be randomly selected to receive a personalized “thank you” letter from one of the founders of Tykoons.
